2023

"The new branch of the National Museum in Krakow (MNK) in the former "Cracovia" hotel is intended to serve the presentation of design and architecture of the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as to be a model center for supporting creative industries related to these fields of creativity.

The overriding idea of the planned activity will be to combine and synergize typical museum functions with a modern infrastructure dedicated to supporting creative industries, with a particular focus on design and architecture. This idea will be implemented through cooperation with the scientific sector and entrepreneurs, with the aim of introducing innovative solutions to the economy, including digitization and promotion of SMEs from these industries. As a result, a space should be created for the development of research, development (R&D), and implementation cooperation of public sector cultural institutions with the creative industries sector (including SMEs and NGOs) and the scientific sector."
